Funeral Details

Marvin Miller, 87, of Northbrook, Illinois passed away peacefully on October 23, 2022. After graduating from University of Illinois, he joined his family business, Burton Miller, a clothing store in Chicago, where he worked for another 20 years. In 1981 he turned his passion for the stock market into his vocation and joined Paine Webber, Jackson & Curtis later UBS. Over the next 30 years, he built a strong brokerage business, along with his wife, Sherie, in business at UBS. Marvin enjoyed the stock market, opera, photography, woodworking travel and spending time with his family. ?
Marvin was born on December 13, 1934. Beloved husband of Sherie (nee Gross) for 66 years. Loving father of Neal (Marilyn), Amy Schwartz (Jack, of blessed memory) and Ronald (Susan). Proud grandfather of Edward (Ashley), Lisa Aubert (Andrew), Sam, Melissa Weisman (Aaron), Ellen, Sara and Rachel, and Laura (of blessed memory) and great grandfather of Nina, Miles and Natalie. We would like to thank the caring staff at North Shore Place in Northbrook. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marvin’s name to The Laura Miller Memorial Fund – MJF, 1350 E. Bay Point Rd., Bayside, WI 53217. Graveside service Tuesday at 1:30 PM at Westlawn Cemetery (Evergreen Section), 7801 W. Montrose Ave, Norridge.
