Norbert Rosenthal, age 89

Beloved husband of the late Rosane Rosenthal nee Nusbaum. Dear father of Yael “Jeanette” (Yaakov Dov) Levy, Shulamis “Karen” (Eliezer) Halpern, Shmuel (Malky) Rosenthal, and Batya (Avraham) Alon. Brother of the late Zerline (Jack) Neuberger. Proud grandfather and great grandfather of many. Service Wednesday 9 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie. Interment Har HaZeisim. God bless Norbert now that he can reunite with his wife. He was so blessed by a large family that he took pride in. Often pointing out pictures of his family that was hung on his wall in the dining room. It brought me pleasure to bring Kosher food items that brought him some enjoyment. He would go through legal papers
that I brought him and make changes and corrections as well as explained the reason for those changes. He enjoyed the Saturday meetings to study the bible and he invited me to join him with his study friend. I recall the last time was regarding Samuel which was the name of my grandfather.
