I grew up in Simone’s home. I drove her crazy. She was a wonderful woman who raised three special children who loved her very much. They were her life. She will always be loved and missed.

It is so rare when you meet a person who can be so impactful and indelible despite the limited time together. Simone was just such a person. She always made you feel like the most important person in the room. You only need to look at her children to know the type of thoughtful, kindhearted, intelligent and vibrant person she was. I am sending warm and loving thoughts from Portland, ME to Chicago, IL.

To the family, my deepest condolences. Simone was my second cousin. Her mother and my father, first cousins, come from the same shtetl in Poland. I met Simone through a Facebook group named "Jewish Zelechow.". This group was for survivors and descendants of the Jews of Zelechow, Poland. We never met in person. Through our communications I got to know her and the wonderful person she was. Her love of the arts and all living things. May her memories be a blessing, Baruch Dayan Emet (ברוך דיין אמת).

Condolences to the family. Had the good fortune to meet Simone when I flew up to Illinois to attend her son, David's, wedding. What a beautiful person she was, inside and out! Her smile lit up a room. We continued to stay in touch through social media and games. She always said "come on up". Sending beautiful pictures of nature. I will truly miss her. God bless you all. 🙏😇♥️
