I have known Dianne since she was about 3 years old. We lived in houses next door to each other. Then we lived in the same apartment building until we went to college. We went to college together. I probably saw her almost every day for at least 15 years. We were the closest of cousins
Everything that was said about her at the beautiful service was true. There is no point in repeating anything.
After Bobbi and I moved to Denver we stayed in touch. We went to Chicago to see Dianne and her family almost every year. We went out to dinner together when we were there. I played football with Alan and our grandchildren.
We FaceTimed with Dianne even when she no longer knew who I was.
I loved her dearly. So did Bobbi.
It is a great sense of loss that we know she is no longer here. We shall never forget her or the wonderful times we had together.
Goodbye our beloved Dianne. We miss you.
