Dear Family of Norman Crandus,
I met and work with your dear husband, father, grandad, siblings, and cousins through the Chicago Center on Urban Life and Culture. He was a thoughtful and supportive colleague. His student teachers flourished with his professional guidance and leadership. Although mere words are inadequate at this time, I hope it helps to know that others care and understand the gravity of your loss.
May the memories of the time you were able to share with him strengthen you as you address the future. You are all now his legacy going forward. May his memory always remain as a blessing for each of you.
Sincerely,
Arlene R. Crandall,
Executive Director
Retired Teachers Association of Chicago
