OBITUARY

He was the beloved husband of Deb Kind; loving father of Sydney and Zachary; brother of Bill Marovitz; and uncle and cousin to many. Bob was born on July 10th in Chicago and was a beloved son of Jane and Sydney Marovitz.

Bob was the perfect mix of compassionate, thoughtful, and fun, and his family was the center of his universe. He enjoyed sharing sunsets, ice cream, a good hot dog, great movies, photography, the Chicago Bears, and beautiful fall days in Door County with loved ones.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at noon at the Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Boulevard, Skokie, Illinois. Interment will follow at Waldheim, 1400 Des Plaines Ave, Forest Park, Illinois 60130. Dear Deb, Sydney, and Zachary,
I was sad to see the obituary of Bob. Although I hadn’t seen Bob in years, we communicated a few times more recently via messenger.

Bob was the best man at my wedding. He was a jolly guy and I know you will miss him. Bob’s dad, who Sydney is likely named for, was my mother’s hero. When we were younger, Bob wanted a family and he had that with the three of you. I have all nice things to say about Bob. Deb, if you like, please give me a call. I wondered about the Parkinson’s connection.
