OBITUARY

Joyce June Kaiser nee Fiala, age 89.

Beloved wife of the late Richard Kreiss and the late Al Kaiser. Loving mother of Cynthia (Richard) Cash and step mother of Roberta (Ronald) March. Proud grandmother Amanda Cash (Michael) Cahan, Dana Cash (Tim) Bunker, Kristen (Jason) Tarnol and Nicole (Christopher) Klingenstein. Cherished great-grandmother of Jasper, Silas, Piper, Dylan, Riley, Jess, Brooks and Boden. Dear sister of the late Elvira (the late Charles) Schwartz and the late Elaine Karlovsky. Fond aunt of many. Joyce was a vibrant trailblazer ahead of her time and was loved by all. In the early 1950’s, she gambled on opening her own salon, L’Elegance in Skokie, IL. With the salon being a bustling success, she soon opened Miss Joyce Salon of Beauty and Miss Joyce Boutique at the Harbor House, 3200 N. Lake Shore Drive. The hugely successful salons launched the careers of many well-known stylists and had a clientele of who’s who in Chicago. Joyce counted on her philosophies: “dependable quality attracts clients and keeps them coming back” and “always give a little extra.” To keep everyone safe and healthy, the service will be private. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011, www.alz.org.

The most fun aunt ever! She even took us to Comiskey Park to see the Beatles. She will be sorely missed.

Aunt Joyce was one of the best to ever do it. She carried herself with beauty, style, grace, class topped off with the positive energy of a dynamo. She will never be forgotten. I will miss her very much. Much love to you all in this difficult time.
