My sincere condolences to Abel's family. It was a pleasure to know Abel through my work with Batory Foods. He was always one to stop to talk, ask questions and get to know you. He has shaped a tremendous legacy not only with Batory Foods but how to provide value-centered leadership. I feel privileged to have known him.

To The Friedman Family,
I was lucky enough to have known Abel early in my sales career. Abel was one of my customers and a business partner as one of best distributors in the United States. We had the opportunity to grow our business together. The best part of the relationship was the friendship I had with Abel over many decades. Some people success can change them but Abel always remained humble of his success and was always generous to his employees and friends. I watched how over the years he mentored so many people like myself. I was also lucky to have enjoyed a friendship with his son Ron who inherited all the wonderful qualities his father had.
Abel it was a pleasure to have you as my friend and I know I will meet up with you again in another life.
My Deepest Sympathy to the family.

I will miss Abel. He was such a kind a generous man. I know he cared about people. He built his legacy and business on his desire for people to be happy and productive everyday. He was a joy to work with and easy to be around with his witty and thoughtful demeanor. Abel was always interested in how my family was doing and showed genuine interest in them. When my wife was going through difficulty with breast cancer Abel would always ask about her health. He shared words of encouragement and was concerned if we were taking the necessary time to find happiness and living everyday for the next. My condolences to the entire Friedman family including Judy and Ron who I feel an especially heavy heart for in this time of sadness.

It's never easy to say goodbye to someone who meant so much. Their presence may be gone, but their spirit remains in the memories we hold close.
I remember their laughter, how it could light up a room. The quiet moments too, full of kindness and understanding. He had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved.

I was so sorry to hear of Abel’s passing. It was so great to have known Abel through my 24 years as a supplier working with his company Batory Foods. He was always one to have a story and would grab u by the arm in the hallway and really tell you how it was going. A huge legacy he leaves behind with great qualities instilled from Abel. Rest In Peace Abel.

My Condolences To The Friedman Family.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Abel for those 40 plus years. He talked to his employees with friendship, encouragement and concerns. His teaching, mentoring, listening, plus an outrageous sense of humor made everyone comfortable and with Ron made Batory Foods what it is today. This is what made good years fly by.
Abel changed my life and thousands of other lives with his love, support and generosity.
I am grateful for my friendship with the Friedman family. Wonderful people and my heart goes out to each of them. He was the big brother I never had and closer to me than my own Father.
How hard to say goodbye to someone you love so until we meet again. Love
Kenny
