Zaida was a very special person I remember his joke he would tell us kids, why don't Jews cross the street? They Magen David the street. He always looked to be kind and thoughtful in his quiet way. We love him and miss him so much!

Zaida always was and is an inspiration to me, my Mishpacha, and all those that dealt with him.

He was a true Rebbishe Ainekel carrying the illustrious name of his Zaida the Lubeshayav Rebbe HaRav Shmaryahu Weingarden ZT"L.

The dynasty was renowned for their scholarship, humility, and most importantly making others feel loved and Zaida was a true scion of such illustrious ancestry.

You could not help but feeling happy and uplifted whenever you would meet Zaida Z"L.

To this day when I smell Old Spice Original I always have happy memories, as that is the "scent" Zaida always had on.

Bli Ayin Hora (or as Zaida would say- KenHor-nit) he and Bubby Sarah (who Hashem should grant her a Refuah Shlayma and much comfort) are Zoche to have k'mat all of their many descendants as proud Shomrei Torah Umitzvos.

This is due to their many sacrifices for Hashem and His Torah.

Whether it was the communities that they singlehandedly built or was an integral part of, we all are striving to perpetuate their great legacy that they left for us to follow.
