Lisa was one of the kindest and loving woman I have ever known. I don't think she had mean bone in her body. She loved me and Robbie and we loved her. Rest in peace, our Lisa. I will never forget you. Susan Roth

I was so honored to have lunch with Renee and Lisa at least twice a year when she visited her family in California. Lisa was so beautiful inside and out. I couldn't wait to hear her tell the stories of her life, over and over again. I loved every minute we spent together and she was a gift to all!
Marshal and I are so sorry for your loss. We all lost an angel here on earth but we gained a new angel in heaven. Xoxo Julie and Marshal Salomon and family ❤️

We met Lisa the day before the engagement party for Steve and Renee at our home. She came to me and said, "put me to work. I do anything but cook". She then proceeded to schlep chairs and tables washing everything down and setting up. I thought that cooking was easier. That was the beginning of our relationship sharing three wonderful grandchildren. When she visited, I took her to the center and we would go to museums and field trips. We even went to an afternoon game at Dodger stadium. I soon learned that going to a nice restaurant didn't phase her. She didn't care about the food but the location. If we could walk around there, it was the perfect place. Kincaides at the beach became her favorite as we could walk the wharf by the ocean.
Lisa's stories were amazing as she survived a difficult childhood which never affected her personality. We loved the same children and discussing them was easy for both of us.
No matter where we went, she was dressed with jewelry and a lovely outfit. She was a lady. Hope she is a peace near a shady walking path and close to Panera. We will miss you. Al and Ruth Blinder

I had the pleasure of knowing Lisa over several years, when she would come out to California to visit Renee's family. She was kind, and exuberantly cheerful. She was always interested in what I and my family were doing. She lived a complicated life, but always dwelled on the present with a smile. She will be missed.

Lisa was a shining light of positivity. Despite a difficult childhood and raising three children by herself, Lisa only saw the good in everything and everyone. She always had good things to say and was interested in everyone. She LOVED dogs, and was thrilled to be with my little one, telling me over and over how "dogs know I love them !"
Gatsby did enjoy her fussing over him! We will all miss Lisa- 96 is a long life— but not long enough for those who knew her! 🙏🏻❤️💕

This really hurts. She was such a beautiful beautiful soul.

I still think of her everytime I sing my favorite German song, A Die Musik, an ode to music and the joy and beauty it brings to the world.

Just the thought of her would always bring a smile to my face.

She had a contagious smile and childlike giddiness. Her little quirks and catchphrases still cross my mind. My favorite is the dramatic "oh g-d" she would say if something mildly interesting happened on tv or in conversation. Or the cute way she absentmindedly cleaned and messed with her teeth. I admired her humor and resilience. Her consistency, love, and affection. Our mutual adoration for the Panera corporation❤️ I only hope I can shine the same light and positive energy she had, and spread joy with others as she did. My heart sincerely goes out to her family. She will be missed.

Lisa Ayala was a very uniquely blessed and beautiful woman.
She grew up in difficult circumstances during the Nazi regime, emigrated after the war to the US, and lived most of her adult life in the United States.
She raised a beautiful family and was blessed with six grandchildren.
She was fortunate with her health, and was never ill until the last year for life.
Lisa loved life and loved being with people, especially her family and close friends. She found the greatest joy in the happiness of other people.
Lisa had a very warm heart and was a very compassionate person.
She loved animals and was not intimidated by Our for a very large mastiffs.
She became and will always remain a part of our family.
We will miss you, Lisa.
Love,
Bruce, Irma, Robbie, Sammy, and Sofia

Lisa was a rare combination of strength and beauty. While her outer beauty was obvious and complimented by her impeccable style, it was her inner beauty that was a light in this world. She was kind, generous, honest, and positive. She never allowed the challenges and setbacks of her life to defeat or define her. Instead, through her strength and courage, she managed to become one of the most positive and enthusiastic people I have ever known. Lisa had amazing stories to share but she was always curious to hear yours as well. She was inspirational as a woman, mother, stepmother, grandmother, and friend. Having known Lisa since I was twelve years old, she was like a mother to me and I was blessed to have her in my life. She will be deeply missed.

Lisa was a remarkable soul who touched many lives with her vibrant spirit and love. She radiated joy and embraced every moment with enthusiasm. We were always inspired by her great love and devotion to her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren, which knew no bounds. She leaves a legacy of warmth and affection to all those around her, yet her genuine interest in others extended beyond her own kin. She welcomed our family with care and affection and was never too busy at gatherings to ask about our lives and our children. I could always count on her for sage advice that resonated with wisdom and kindness. It was a testament to the remarkable person she was. We will celebrate and cherish the memories we shared with her and will remember her joyful presence, laughter, and sparkling blue eyes. Rest In Peace, dearest Lisa,

When I think of Lisa I smile thinking about this beautiful, enthusiastic women who always had a smile on her face and and a positive attitude about everything. I know that her many trips to California over the years to share time with family and friends gave her so much happiness. I cherish the memories of sharing walks with her and hearing her life stories. After my dad passed away, Lisa and my Mom became best of friends. They shared some exciting and memorable adventures together. She loved sharing them with me, laughing and saying over and over again, "Can you believe we did that!" She inspired us all and she will be deeply missed!
Our condolences to her beautiful family.

I'm very sad about the passing of Lisa. I'm so glad to have known her and will cherish my time spent with her at the many gatherings at Renee's, the girls lunchions and seeing her at the many celebrations over the years. She was my friend . I never got tired of hearing about her life's stories. She was such an inspiration and had the most positive and beautiful attitude about all of her struggles and challenges. She met them all with amazing courage and an unbending belief that all would be well. She always put her family first. I'm a better person for knowing her. "You will be missed dear Lisa." My heart goes out to her family. God bless you all .

I've had the pleasure of knowing Lisa for many years. I was always happy to see her and she always had a beautiful smile and kind word for me whenever I saw her. She is a beautiful reminder of how each of us can grow and reframe our lives to treat those around us better than we've been treated and to spread love and kindness to those around us. Laura and I just watched the video of Lisa's funeral service. We were so touched by what everyone in the family said about Lisa: how she was a fighter for herself; how she bravely remade herself into the wonderful person we knew; how she unconditionally loved her family; how she touched all those she came into contact with. Our heart goes out to all of Lisa's family, loved ones and friends. She will be missed. And I will keep her blessed memory in my heart.
