I remember the first time I met Miriam, and listening to Chana Leah and Devorah talk about their mother reminded me of the smiling woman I met. I have thought of her often as, lehavdil I got married older and moved to a different state with my husband, leaving my friends and jobs behind, and I was inspired by the fact that although it was a struggle at first, she made a wonderful life for herself, her husband, and her children in Chicago.

I was truly saddened to hear about her p'tira, as I always remembered her so full of life.

May H' comfort the entire family and all of Miriam's friends, and may she be a meilitzat yosher for all of you and for k'lal Yisrael.
