Funeral Details

Richard (Dick) Marvin Pales, a special individual, passed away peacefully at age 97 on June 5, 2023. Beloved husband for 69 years of Jean (Stone), his devoted, dedicated and caring wife and life partner. Loving father of Stephen, Bruce (Hana) and Tammi (Billy Finestone) . Adored Zayde of Aaron (Aryn) Finestone, Kyla (Kevin) Cira, Tali Finestone (Matt Cacciaguida) and Danya Finestone; and adored grandfather of Richard Pales, Daniel Pales and Sarah Pales. Proud Great-Grandfather of Leo Cira and Ava Cira. Dick was a veteran of WWII, serving in Europe with the 44th Infantry Cavalry Reconnaissance Troop, a family man, an immensely involved father (at a time when fathers were often not so involved), an avid and highly competent tennis player, golfer and ballroom dancer. He always had a unique (and often humorous) perspective on world and family events. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. May his memory be for a blessing.
