Carol was a special woman who always found something good in every one and every thing. Her talents were great and she used them to benefit others. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. As a parent, friend, musician, gardener and teacher, she was a beacon of light for all of us.

Carol was a special and longtime friend. From our days at Northwestern when women did not major in chemistry to a friendship involving family we have shared much. I will miss her. My condolences to Rachel, Joe and Anna. I hope you find comfort in her memory
