Barbara was a beloved friend since we met as Snowhawks ski club buddies in 1984...We traveled to local and Colorado ski areas with Snowhawk club members and shared so many fun times always over the years.
Barbara was an excellent cook, wrote a cookbook with her daughters Patti and Liz, and was always a 4-star hostess at her home in Chicago...So many happy memories...She was always smiling..So many creative ideas came from her....A treaure to have had her as my lifelong friend...Shauneen Weininger

To all who have benefited from the life of Barbara,
I have nothing but fond memories of Barbara. As a high school classmates and thereafter the many experiences we enjoyed, Barbara enriched my life. Her graciousness, her loving and caring spirit complimented her devotion to friendship. As with others, she will forever be in our hearts.

I have known Barbara since we moved into homes on Castlewood Terrace. Barbara was always smiling and upbeat, ready to tackle anything. She was a free spirit. For several years we met every morning to jog in Lincoln Park. We lost touch since I moved to Florida 30 years ago. However we connected again and it was as if we had just met yesterday. Barbara was a true friend and brought sunshine with her into others lives. I will miss her especially when I return to Chicago in the summer.
