Loving husband and best friend of the late Marcia. Cherished father of Debra Sigel, Marcy (Steve) Pritzen and the late Linda Sigel. Adored grandfather of Alex and Andy. The service was beautiful and captured Eddie perfectly. I was fortunate to have known Eddie since I was five years old. He was like an uncle to me. He once took me to a cub game, when I was about ten. We went early to watch batting practice. We were standing above the visitor's dugout when Joe Cunningham came off the field and gave me a baseball. I was so excited to speak to a real ball player. I was also lucky to have played several rounds of golf with Eddie, Steve and Frank Pope. Eddie was good luck because Steve shot even par for the first time during one of those rounds. Eddie was a gentleman, filled with humor, and extremely friendly. He was great friends with my parents, and after my dad passed away, Eddie, Frank and Vi had their own "Rat Pack." He will be missed. Darlene also sends her love and sympathy.
