OBITUARY

David B. Goldman, age 71, passed away after a hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer. David was married to his college sweetheart Sheryl, née Waxburg, for 46 years. He was the loving father of Adam (Aly) Goldman and Rachel Goldman, and a devoted zayde to Foster and Rowan Goldman. David was a cherished brother to Larry (Jill) Goldman, Michael (Bobbi) Goldman, and brother-in-law to Shelley (Robert) Fabrizio. He was a dear uncle to many nieces and nephews. Family and friends meant everything to him, notably his lifelong friend Barry (Leslie) Alpert.

He loved all sports as a participant, coach, fan, and commentator; particularly for his beloved ILLINI. An ultimate foodie, he loved to grocery shop, cook, and enjoyed making world famous grilled cheese sandwiches for his grandchildren. David will be remembered as a well-respected legal defense attorney involved with multiple legal associations. He was an avid library patron and reader and would read 2 books at a time devouring them.

Service will be held Monday 1 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (one block north of Lake Cook Road) Buffalo Grove. Interment at Shalom Memorial Park in Arlington Heights. Blessings of peace wished for David after a hard fought battle with cancer. He had worked so diligently to continue with his tennis league buddies but it was not meant to be. I always loved his determination and enthusiasm for tennis and his friends. Thinking of you, Sheryl—
