Jon & Mike: Your dad would have been very proud to hear your moving words about him, although I'm sure he would also have found things to criticize as well. Nate was one of the pillars of my youth. I share in your grief and hope you will find peace. Kurt

Jon/Mike - Beautiful service. I did not know your Dad personally, but I felt like I knew him after your wonderful speeches. A fitting send-off for a life well-lived. (N.B.: Something that I would have mentioned at Shiva during normal times, my Dad was also a CPA and, like Mike, my first job was working in a steamy warehouse during the summer for one of my Dad's clients, and my favorite part of the job was the garbage run.)

Mike, Jon and Yellen Families,
We share your loss. In a world that needs more intellectual curiosity and more truth seeking, we now have a little less. We will miss our discussions with Nate. We will miss the delight we saw in his eyes whenever he was around family—of which he made us feel included. And we will miss his homemade matzoh and the wonderful stories that were served with it. Comfort and love to each of you. We will miss your dad/grandfather.
