Funeral Details

Robert Arlen "Bobby" Sussman died peacefully on Monday July 17, 2023, of natural causes. Beloved brother of Ira Sussman. Bobby was a larger-than-life character who had a lot of sides to him. There was the bigger than life warm character who made so many friends over the years because of his wit and humor. There was nothing Bobby wouldn't do for a laugh. There was also the side of Bobby that was the love of music, art, literature, and travel. He shared his love of culture with all of us and made us better for it. Then there was the complicated side of Bobby that made him the most unusual and beloved person to anyone that knew him. He was a true and real Chicago guy and loved the city. There was nobody like him and he will be sorely missed. Celebration of life Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 2PM to 6PM at The Piggery, 1625 Irving Park Road, Chicago, Illinois 60613.
