Had lunch with Dick on June 11th at his new place. He was so excited to show the apartment off.
Worked with Dick at the Hirsh Company for over 15 years and we’ve remained friends ever since. O
My sympathy to the entire family as Dick had so many great things to say about all of you.

Dick is truly one of the nicest people i’ve ever met!
Tom golfed with Dick for many years.
Met him for lunch on Wednesday’s at Celli’s and went to Culver's on Wednesday's.
Joan was my special client at Chico’s for many years, and the 4 of us went to dinner often.
Tom being a Vietnam veteran and Dick Korean Veteran shared many things about the Navy and being a veteran.
I make wire wrapped jewelry and when i wanted to make the bracelet Dick made sure i made them correctly, so they could be read as a proper Morse Code Message. Many veterans wear them as an honor to their service.
He has been a very good friend to Tom and I.
Tom has Alzheimer’s and he always wanted to know how he was doing.
Your dad was a good, kind man and will be missed greatly.
With Love,
Marge Dobrofsky and Tom Adams

So sad to hear dick passed away. Always enjoyed having Friday lunches with dick and friends. Love how proudly he spoke of his kids,Grandkids and great grandkids. How happy it made him feel to build doll houses for his great grandkids as a memory for them. Loved talking to him about design and manufacturing . How life was for him growing up. Truly a great person. He will be missed by all his lunch lunch buddies. Always great to see his smiling face.

We feel deep sadness at the loss of such a gregarious and warm man. Although sharing only a short time with him you couldn’t be anything but impressed with his friendly and happy demeanor. You couldn’t be anything but happy in his presence. Many have been positively touched by his life. Through them, his memory will live on. We are blessed to be a part of the Powell family and extend heartfelt condolences at his passing.

I am so sorry for your loss. I learned so much about your father, grandfather, and great grandfather from your heartfelt words at the service. He sounded like an amazing, kind, generous, innovative, creative, humorous, unjudgemental, caring and loving man. I wish I would have gotten to know him. May your many shared memories give you comfort. It warms my heart that you are such a close family. Wishing you the best always.
