Buddy Black, age 76.
Devoted husband of 43 years of Barbara A. Black, nee Teslik. Loving father Rebecca Anne Black. Fond uncle of Dr. Adam (Dr. Stephanie) Black and Brian (Heiji Choi) Black. Beloved great uncle of many. Dear brother of the late Dennis (Joyce) Black. Cherished son of the late Harold and the late Frances Black.
Buddy was an avid sports enthusiast, an “almost-pro” golfer, and possessed a natural talent for singing and performing. He was a dedicated member of the Chicago Master Singers and served as president of the organization for a time. Buddy was also a very dedicated employee of 35 years at Nichicon, working his way up to National Distribution Manager and traveling abroad for business often. He also enjoyed traveling with his family, especially to Europe. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his love of animals, and his dedication to his family.
To keep everyone safe and healthy, the chapel service and interment are private. A public memorial service will be announced at a later date.
