Elegant Joan Korach, nee Sheriff, 92.

Beloved wife of the late Abe I. Korach. Loving mother of Rebecca (Peter Woan) Korach and Rachael (Petter Storaas) Korach. Proud grandmother of Sophie, Cameron, Pelle and Axel. Dear sister of the late Robert and Donald Sheriff. Fond sister-in-law of Marvin (Lesley) Korach and the late Gertrude Broner, Ruth Zwick and Lorraine Sheriff. Will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside service Thursday, October 26, 2023, 10:30 AM at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles (everyone to meet at cemetery office at 10:30 AM). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to any animal shelter or to the charity of your choice. As we bid farewell to Aunt Joan, take solace in knowing that her legacy of class and elegance will live in our hearts forever. I will always remember the holiday feasts at Grandma Sheriff’s house with the whole family together. Aunt Joan always brought a touch of refinement and grace to the gathering - carrying herself with poise and impeccable style.
