Funeral Details

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the recent passing of ROSALINE KARP, 92, on Wednesday, Sept. 8th. She was the wife of the late Albert Karp; mother of DAN KARP (Amy), Rick Karp (Sue) and Diane Weiner. Beloved grandmother of Sam (Rachel) , Joe, Jake , Mike, Andrew (Marni) and Jessica. Double Bubbie to Asher, Becca and Joshua. Her kids, grandkids and great grandkids were her pride and joy as was her love of Judaism. Born and raised in Altoona, PA , Rosie worked as a bookkeeper for Sheetz Inc for many years before retiring to care for her late husband. Upon moving to Chicago 5 ½ years ago, she taught Maj and Pinochle to the Brookdale residents, volunteered at Anshe Emet and loved spending Shabbat dinners with her family. Services will be held in Pennsylvania and there will be no shiva in Chicago.
