Robert King Sher, age 88. Beloved husband of Bunny Sher nee Ball. Loving father of Brian (Tamara) Sher, Eric Sher and Nicole (Geoffrey) Gran. Proud grandfather of Dr. Emily (Luke) Robbins, Hannah (Sam) Brodfuehrer, Harrison Gran and Alexandra Gran. Cherished great-grandfather of Henry. Service Tuesday 10:00AM, Oak Park Temple, 1235 North Harlem Avenue, Oak Park. Interment Zion Gardens Cemetery, 6758 West Addison Street, Chicago Illinois. I will remember Bob’s huge smile and sense of fun, his joy and pride in his family, and his kindness to mine. My memories of Bob predate Alzheimer’s, so I will always remember Bob as a vital, warmhearted, fun loving uncle who made our family feel welcome and cherished whenever we were near him. Bob and his beautiful family were so special to me and will always hold a tender home in my heart. Sending love to you all. I miss you and know you will find comfort in your many memories of your dad and grandfather and in one another. You are a wonderful family and your dad and grandfather would be so proud of you all.

My memory is a wonderful one of a lovely weekend at the Sher lake house years ago! Bob and bunny drove us around the lake and we saw many ducks. They were such hospitable funny hosts and the the young couples had a ball.❤️
