OBITUARY

Merle Paula Weiss nee Steinberg , 76, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 15, 2019 in Highland Park, IL. Merle, a devoted mother, is survived by her children Jay Weiss, David (Rachael) Weiss, and Beth Weiss Andrews and her grandchildren Jacqueline and Shane Andrews, and Ilana, Miles and Seth Weiss. Graveside services, Tuesday 12:30PM at Waldheim Cemetery, 1400 Des Plaines (Gate 36), Forest Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Jewish National Fund, www.jnf.org. We are so sorry to hear that our dear friend Merle has passed away. We were so fortunate that we got to spend time with her in Arizona when she was here visiting. She was truly a remarkable lady and raising our children together years ago in Deerfield was a great experience and we will miss her terribly. My Dad, Lou Steinberg, was Merle's biggest fan. My they both rest in peace. Merle was a stunning example to all of us younger cousins.
