I worked with Phil at the VA for the 23 years I was there. A very good man and will be missed by many. Always so calm and thoughtful....When I was able to get him to talk about his family and grandchildren he would always light up...didn't have alot of time to chat as a Nurse Practitioner but I remember some moments like these....he also told me a bit about Israel and being Jewish when I would ask questions and was always very respectful and informative. I will miss him.
