I am so glad I got to have dinner with Caren and Marianne a couple of years ago. When I was little she was my favorite aunt....
I hadn't seen Mary Ann for a very long time and was impressed with what a smart, confident in lovely lady she was. I understand that it was shortly thereafter that things started to deteriorate and I'm glad I got to see her before that. She was terrific! So sorry for your loss

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and your families. Kevin and I were blessed to have spent some time with Marianne, when our son Patrick was dating Carly. I loved her smile, her wit and her sense of humor. She was so loving to all around her. I know she will be greatly missed.

With Sympathy,
Shannon and Kevin Clinton

To the family of Marianne: She was so special! I loved working with her at National Louis University on various projects and committees and enjoyed writing a book with her. Marianne's sense of humor was unique, and she was a great storyteller who told stories with a sense of humor .... Our lunches together after she retired were always fun! Her devotion and love of her family were apparent, and she loved to share stories and pictures of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids! She will be missed....

She was an inspiration. She was someone I wish I had met in her youth. Giving, demanding respect, well educated, family orientated, her faith inherently a part of her. A live wire in any circumstance. She gave her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren an example to follow in any walk of life. An influence growing down generations.

I'm so glad that my family and I got a chance to meet Marianne. She has a very special place in our hearts. Her kind spirit and beautiful smile always brightened the room and made others feel good to be near her. She was such a great listener and she truly cared about people in her life. She has touched many hearts and she will always remain in our hearts.

We'll keep her and her family in our prayers during this tough time.

The service was heartwarming, and it is a blessing how Marianne left strong feelings of love and values and special memories to each family member. My condolences to all.

Although many years have passed, I have fond memories of the Rosenbloom family celebrating holidays at your home in Glencoe. I wish Bob and Mark were here to reminisce the memories of Aunt Marianne with me. Occasionally Marianne would talk with my mom, and it was impressive to hear how she remained relevant at her age. After the service being relevant is now important to me. Thank you.

Wishing you strength as you reflect on many years of her love.
