Judy was a trailblazer in her profession. She was a talented educator and musician and she devoted her life to teaching Jewish music to others. She was a founding member of the Guild of Temple Musicians, an affiliate of the American Conference of Cantors, and served as President. She was the Music Director of Temple Beth Israel for 35 years, and the Director of the Halevi Choral Society. On behalf of the Guild of Temple Musicians, and Temple Beth Israel, we wish her family and friends our deepest condolences. May Judith's memory be for blessing. Sincerely, Marla Aviva Bentley, Director of Music, Temple Beth Israel, and President-Elect of the Guild of Temple Musicians.
