I had the pleasure of working with Rick at Caliber and Newrez. I loved the stories he would tell about concerts he went to or going to the racetrack. He was always so kind and quick to help. My prayers and condolences are with you during this difficult time.

I never had the opportunity to meet Rick in person but I had the pleasure of working with him at Caliber/NewRez. Him and I would often cover for each other while on PTO and he was always so kind. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I remember when we went to Arlington Heights Racetrack as a group outing with Caliber. Rick was the life of the party, and it was so nice meeting his beautiful wife. We will miss him greatly.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rick in 1987 when he worked at CBOT and I was a bank teller across the street. We attended each other's weddings and he was truly a beautiful soul. His laughter was contagious. My deepest condolences to Sue and his entire family.

Rick and my Uncle Mark always had a great time together.Two peas in a pod,always joking around and laughing together. I remember this one time that they were playing this game where you take a piece of paper and you draw a trail with some trees around it, you trace the trail over and over going down the same path,memorizing it. Then you close your eyes and do it,then you tap the other person's head with your hand saying that they hit a tree. My Uncle and him played that game,and Rick was so serious about not hitting the tree and we all laughed together. Rick was so genuine and funny. He was such a great friend of our family,he will be missed very much.

I am so saddened by your loss. Ricky was an early childhood friend of mine annd my younger brother Robbie and lived across the street from our family growing up. I have fond memories of playing movie theater at his house. We made movie tickets and charged Gladys and Nathan to watch tv. We even had movie snacks (that also were the Riffer’s) and charged for those too. Holding the Riffer family close in my heart. May you find peace in loving memories 🙏💙🙏
