Beloved mother of Lindsay Margolis (David Miller) and Jori Margolis Cash (Patrick Cash). Former spouse of Jordan Margolis. Proud grandmother of Quinn Miller, Phoebe Miller, Landon Cash and Cameron Miller. Dear sister of Sherry (Stuart) Davidson and the late Robin Londo. Adored aunt of Jamie Davidson, Beth (the late Jon) Shapiro, Peter Davidson, Keith (Carlee) Londo, Kim Gaffen, Laura (Gary) Strykowski, Shana Margolis, Adam (Emily) Singh and Eric (Katie) Singh. Dear sister-in-law of Toby (Raj) Singh and Wendy (Jeremy) Margolis. Service Monday 10AM at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Road, Glencoe, IL 60022. Interment Shalom. At Nile's north I was very introverted. I always noticed Holly because she was so beautiful both physically and her personality.
I Never said hello and I don't think she did. About 5 years ago I saw her on Facebook and said hi. Even on fb her wonderful personality came through. We chatted almost every week since.
I appreciate how honest she was about how she felt and it was always my first question. About a week ago she stopped answering and I wondered. In the short time I got to know her my first thought, she would live longer than me. I feel blessed to have gotten to know her.

Shared funny stories and laughter poolside with Holly, on her visits to Az at Toby and Raj's. Holly had a fabulous smile and enjoyed and appreciated every minute of her visit(s) in Arizona with friends and family. We will all miss her zest for life.

I met Holly 3 years ago, she was with her darling grand babies and beautiful daughter. I’m Lindsay’s neighbor and Holly shined so bright. She was so proud of her girls and shared it was Lindsay’s Halloween birthday. A lovely family and so happy to have them across the street. May Holly’s memory be a blessing. Rest in peace.

Sincere condolences from myself and my husband Hailu to all my extended family and relatives.
I wish I had been able to get to Chicago, but I am at home in Indianapolis with a cold. I am grateful we were able to attend the service online.

For those who may not know me, I am a 1st cousin to Holly. Like cousin Jamie, I too was a "carrot top" with bright red hair.

I have special memories with Holly as children; when she lived in Austin (west of Chicago) in the 2-Flat (above Grandma Bessie & Grandpa Louis on the 1st floor). . We would often play with our Barbie dolls together (which included her Ken doll & car AND the special Barbie clothes the elderly neighbor woman next door made for Holly❤️

My husband Hailu and I will say additional prayers for Holly.
