Charles was a sweet and wonderful man; extraordinarily intelligent, humble, sensitive and creative. He was one of the most respected and respectful persons I’ve had the privilege to know. He was thoughtful and thought-provoking. Although it's been many years, I still treasure our time as co-workers. My condolences to Marlene and the family.

I love you, Charlie! I was just replaying in my mind all of my lifelong memories with you and Marlene, from playing with you during Aunt Goldie's sedars to pushing your car down the street in Toronto, to watching SNL in the 70s eating pizza laughing hysterically to babysitting your kids when they were little. You are one of the kindest people who ever walked this Earth, and I will miss you! May G-d bless you and may you rest in peace forever, Cousin.

We called him Cousin Charlie, my sisters and I. He was one of the nicest men I ever knew.
I never saw him angry. He was always calm and cool and extremely warm and sympathetic.

It's so sad to know he suffered so much for the last three years. May he be at peace now
and his neshama (soul) have an aliyah.
