Alyce Newman nee Berger, age 78.
Beloved wife of the late Danny Newman and the late Dr. Josef Katz. Loving mother of P. Andre Katz and Leonard Katz. Dear sister of the late Krystyna Skoczynska. Alyce was a Holocaust Survivor. She was a star of Jewish theater and was a devotee of the opera and the arts. Service Thursday, 2:30 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd. (at Niles Center Road) Skokie.
