Ted was one of the most thoughtful and insightful people that I’ve known
He had an air of bemused detachment and the ability to take it all in and make sense of the world.

I will never forget the kindness and companionship he showed me during my years in medical school. Ted and his family were then and will always be my cherished Chicago family
