My deepest condolences to Rick's family. I only knew Rick for a couple of years where he was a patron at my karaoke show. And every time it was his turn to come to the stage, I would always introduce him as "The man, the myth, the legend the one and only Rick Burnstein" And I would always see his face light up when he came to the stage, it was infectious! He brought joy to everyone around him. And I'd like to share a specific moment that stands out for me the most. One time he pulled me aside one evening and said "Whenever I go and sing on stage with you, you make me feel special. You make me feel like a star." I will never forget that moment as long as I live. It was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me about my job and it's people like Rick that are the sole reason I enjoy doing what I do!

We knew Rick through the karaoke circuit. We would sit with him if he showed up by himself. It was great to see how much he LOVED singing. What a sweet and warm man! Our deepest condolences.

Dear family and friends, I wish you peace and joy during this time. My cousin Rick was indeed so kind, curious and generous. His smile has left an indelible impression on me, and clearly so many others. As kids we would play for hours. We were so blessed to have loving parents and wonderfully supportive siblings. I remember running into him as a young adult, after not seeing him for a while; I was amazed at his physical prowess, he looked like Sampson. And to hear that he loved to sing and entertain brings a giant smile to my face. His memory is a blessing to us all.
