Joel and I worked in the same department during his years at Panasonic. He was always very focused on his job and had a great team-player attitude. Even when he seemed busy in the lab and I knew he was under pressure to meet a deadline, I knew that if I approached him to ask him a question or even just to chat, that he would always be friendly and willing to help me with whatever my issue was. We would chat about the programs we were working on, or we would just talk about our frustrations at work. I remember consulting him when I was thinking about getting my motorcycle and he was very excited for me when I told him I had gone through with it and bought it.

I was incredibly saddened to hear about his passing but I am grateful to have gotten an opportunity to work with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his whole family during this difficult time.
