Phillip M. Migdal

Devoted son of Jack and Belle nee Silverman. Loving brother of the late Norman and brother-in-law of Fern Migdal. Dear uncle of Sarah Migdal, David (Karla) Migdal, Jim (Victoria Thorp) Migdal and Allison Migdal. Great-uncle of Eliza Migdal and Blair Migdal. He will be fondly remembered by many special and loving cousins and friends. He was a lover of Opera and also of cats, particularly his cat Lucas. Graveside service Friday 10:00 am at Menorah Gardens Cemetery, 2630 South 17th Ave., Broadview, IL 60153. Please accept my condolences on the passing of Phillip. I did not know Phillip. However, through a friend of a friend, I was enlisted to care temporarily for Phillipâ??s sweet cat, Lucas, who is snoozing on the sofa as I write this. In the near future I would like your guidance in determining Lucasâ?? future. He is indeed a special cat. Again, please accept my sympathies.

Phil was always able to guide me to interesting recordings of classical pieces. Thanks to him I will always have my love of Murray Perahia. Thank you Phil.

We were friends for 40 years....with him we laughed greatly, discussed his worldwide travels and esp. US capitals and more. He will be greatly missed by me.

I became friends with Phil over 30 years ago through our mutual friend Joe Shure. Although i did not share Phil's love of opera and classical music, we found many common interests such as movies, theater, art fairs, and day trips around Chicago. I will miss Phil.
