Gussie was the coolest mom/grandma and great grandma on earth! I loved following Stacey’s posts with Gussie dancing at a picnic. She always had a warm smile whenever I saw her. Maybe she’ll dance with G-d up there. May her memory be for a blessing. ❤️

Cabbage soup, talks in the pool, Portnoys complaint, sleeping over, teenage party, Passover Seders, Lucky, warmth, joy, being listened to and understood. My 2nd mom played such an essential role as to who I am. Aunt Gussie was full of grace and the most present and loving person I’ve ever known. I will miss you so but am so grateful you married my mom’s brother and was in my life . Your lessons and spirit remains. Love you.

Jill, Shelley, and Stacey, I just wanted to say how sorry I am about your mom. She was a wonderful person and a fantastic mother. She was loved by everyone who knew her including myself. She is at peace with no more pain. She will be missed. I love you very much and again very sorry for your loss.

If you look up the definition of amazing in the dictionary, you will find the name Gussie Sevelow. I can definitely think of many many more names for your beautiful mother, but I’ll stop at AMAZING..

Rest in peace, Aunt Gussie. I love you.
