LANCE WISE

I'm again an orphan. My father OBM my Mother OBM who sat and worked with the Rav for decades and now my Totty, my Rebbe, my Posek, my strength, my guide and in his own words my friend is gone from this olam to travel to sit at the Bais Din of H' with all the previous Gedolai Yisroel. His death brings us closer to the close of the first generation of American born Gedolai Yisroel. So many have died in the last year. It is without question the crowning of our Yeshua.

May Maran Hagadol Morainu Vrabbeinu Gedaliah Dov Ben R' Avrohom be a meiylitz Yosher. May Nichum come to his children and to all of us.

Rabbi Schwartz ZTVK"L was a living bridge to the past generations in his Lomdus and in his solid and well grounded counsel and advice. Always available to those who needed his help no matter what station in life the seeker of his assistance was. Always warm and welcoming. Bold in his piskei halachos and straight forward and to the point in his responses. Rabbi Schwartz will be sorely missed. May he be a Meiylitz Yosher for his family and for all of Klal Yisroel and plead before the Ribono Shel Olom to bring the Geulah Shelaima Bimhara Beyaumeni, Amen.

I had the privilege of working for Rav Schwartz at the CRC. He was kind, respectful and pleasant to all as well as being a gigantic Talmid Chacham. May he be a melitz yosher for his family and all of Klal Yisrael.
