Dear sister of Syril (Don) Karel and sister-in-law of Mark Israel and Lee Israel. Lois loved dance, theater, singing, music, being a choreographer, playing canasta with her friends and traveling with Elliott. Most of all she loved spending time with her family. Words cannot express the sorrow I feel about losing Lois. I met her in kindergarten. Her mother and my mother were best of friends. I only reconnected a few years ago, and enjoyed visiting with my friend from many years ago. My fondest memories are sitting on the living room floor playing Canasta for hours! She was a gem. May wonderful memories help you all through this difficult time.

Lois made everything brighter, she was such a lovely person and definitely made a positive impact on everyone around her. It was such a joy to be around her and we so enjoyed spending numerous holidays and celebrations with her at my in-laws home, Richard and Cheryl Pearlman. Lois always made you feel important and listened intently to you when you were speaking, she was genuinely interested in you and it showed. I truly feel like her and Elliott shared a great love, this was evident to all who were lucky enough to be around them. What a blessing! Lois will be sadly missed by all. Thoughts and prayers with all of you.

I am so sorry to hear of Lois., passing. Eric and Alan you may remember me as your teacher at HPHS. My name may have been Goldberg ar that time. Mom and I went to high school together and we always had fun remembering old times and stories. I really loved her sense of humour, bright smile and her kindness. We actually reset when you boys were in my class. I know she will be sorely missed by all of you. Please accept my sincere condolences
