Beloved wife of the late Judge Richard Salzman z'l. Loving mother of Rabbi Jan (Loredo Sola) Salzman, Rabbi Anita (Dr. Donald) Silvert and Beth (Dorit Jordan Dotan) Salzman Levy. Proud grandmother of Matan (Charlotte Nycander) Levy, Carmel (Jaclyn Youngblood) Levy, Yogev (Keren Ya'ari Levy) Levy, Tista Sola, Toby (Hannah Grajko) Sola, Rachel Silvert, Malia (Jeremy) Wilson, David Silvert. I met Charlene 51 years ago. I started to work for Faust of Italy Beauty Salon. Through the years, we establish a bond of love and friendship, not only as a hairdresser. She was a woman of kindness and very futuristic ideas. Very intelligent and guided me through the years with her wise Guidance
I was so grateful for Charlene to be part of my life and so blessed that I could call her my friend

To my cousins I want you to know how much I cherished my relationship with the other Charlene, especially as I grew older. There was always something special about Aunt Char when she spoke to me. She knew what was important, what was not, and as the saying goes, the wisdom to know the difference.
We miss her already, and her loss, though we knew it was coming soon, still effected me deeply.
I so want to be there today with you to honor this wonderful woman whom I loved so much.
We wish you strength through your beautiful memories.
