I was lucky to meet him when he came to Park Plaza for holidays.
And I even was lucky to hear him singing with former students.
After speaking to former students that always praised him, I truly felt bad for not going to Day School.
He made this world better!

Rebbi meant so much to so many people. He inspired and influenced so many from young to old bringing all of us closer to HAKODESH BARUCH HU, as well as helping everyone who knew him reach a higher level in all areas of their lives. Who could possibly match the accomplishments of Rebbi ? We are all so fortunate to have been close to him.

בס"ד
to the family of Moreinu Hurav Reb Reuven Levinson זצוק"ל
listening to to hespedim said by all, every word is so אמת. he was the Rebbi of Rebeiim. so many times that we learned from him as he gladly and willingly shared everything that he knew and more. when Agudah asked me to run Pirchie Day Camp , he guided me in every single aspect of the activity . he off course made sure that i buy snacks only from Reb Moshe Matthew , who would shlep his elderly parents on his deliveries. he gave me the Buffalo Gove Hebrew School building as my base fro he 1st year. any equipment that i needed , was available. he would call to make sure that i am following all of his guidelines. the safety concerns for campers. the head count , the responsibility it was endless. he lived it with me as if it was his camp. whenever we met , it was as described by all - Torah Middos Good Vort ... respect for everyone , humble.
i am just touching the tip of the iceberg.
the family should be comforted המקום ימחם אתכם בתוך שאר אבילי ציון יויורשלים

When there was no where for a Jewish child to play, Rabbi Levinson a'l with Rabbi Raitzik founded Arie Crown Day Camp. From trips on those hot yellow buses to the museums to games of baseball in the forest preserves, no one could forget the smell of egg water. Singing loudly to win color war or just learning some Torah, Rabbi Levinson's smile and joyous personality could always be counted on in encouraging children.
He was a legend as a teacher at Arie Crown! He educated with instilling beautiful midos by his perfect example.
May his family and all of Klal Yisroel be comforted in this great loss.

Rabbi Levinson zt"l was a man that inspired his students, their parents and anyone that knew him. With his guitar in hand and his love of Torah he impacted the lives of many people. It was always a pleasure to meet and listen to him with words and a spirit that will be missed, but not forgotten.. May his memory be for a blessing for Klal Yisrael.
