Dear Molly, it was a blessing to hear your mother's friends tell their stories of her today. My story, mostly about k'nishes, may have been a lttle silly, but it was something we shared.
Altho your mom and I knew each other for many years, I learned new things to love about her with each speaker.
I hope those stories, and your own memories will always be a blessing for you and your family as well, as you remember her.

Molly, I am truly sorry for your loss and wish I had been in town to say my goodbyes. I worked with your mom for 10 years at JRC and both my kids had her for 2nd grade. I enjoyed her artistic spirit and energy and she always knew what she wanted, which is too rare in women.

May her memory forever be a blessing for you in your grief and healing.

Rubin Family,
My deepest condolences on the passing of Rebecca...I am very saddened...I lived in the same apt. building in NYC with the Rubin family, and knew Rebecca when she was a infant, back in 1952. Her sister, Beth, and I were friends, and share the same birthday...I spent many happy times in their apartment at 54 Catherine St.. Sol, was a doll, and I loved to look at all of his photographs...I remember his little dark room, in the corner of their apt..I was present at his and Frieda's wedding, back in 1957. Rebecca, was a beautiful little girl... and we reconnected, a few years ago, on Facebook...Of course, over sixty years have gone by, since we had last seen one another...My family moved out of Manhattan, in 1960, and we lost touch with one another, all of those years..

May her memory be a blessing, to all of you....I will remember her, always..
