Deepest condolences from myself, Mika, Eric and my mother Kuniko. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nicole, Jacob, Benjamin and Roselie. We all grieve for your loss.
I will forever cherish my lifelong friendship with Joel alongside all the memories of growing up in Park Ex and sharing of all sorts of life's passages throughout the years. He is more than just a friend, he is like a brother to me. With his departure I feel that a part of me has gone with him. I will miss him greatly.

My dear friend Yossel. The memories we shared at the bowling alley, at your Aunt's house in Dollard, and at your house in Pierrefonds with Nikki and the kids, not to mention all the drives back and forth from Montreal to Toronto. My awesome trip to Chicago for Jacob's Bar-Mitzvah is something I will never forget. Memories I will always cherish.
My deepest sympathies to Nikki, Jacob, Benjamin, and Roselie.
I will miss our conversations on your anniversary and birthday.
Rest in Peace Yossel.

To Nicole, Jacob, Benjamin and Roselie: So sorry to hear Joel lost his fight with life. Although we are far away, he is deep in our hearts. I remember Joel's frequent calls to Uncle Sammy. Rest in peace, Joel. God bless his soul. Love, Rena and Darryl
