I have been close with Julianne since 1981, when I became a "big brother" to her son, Louis. I then also became close with her sister, Rachelle. What I cherish most about Julianne, my sweet, intelligent, well-read, curious, take-no-prisoners friend, is that not only has she so unconditionally loved her son and her sister, but she has faithfully LOVED MY TWO CHILDREN AND ME. For all that Julianne and I have shared together, for the wonderful meals at Ron of Japan, at Girodanos, at the Italian Village, for the ride on the Centennial Wheel, the discussions of books ,films, politics and law, for the deeply passionate conversations about faith, the Scriptures, about God Himself, for all of these precious, rousing, lasting experiences, I am deeply, deeply grateful. Though today I am struggling with the painful sadness of having to say "goodbye," I can honestly say that I am thankful, most of all, to the ONE who determined years ago, that I was to cross paths with my precious friend, Julianne, who was, oh, so FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE!
