OBITUARY

Gloria Goldblatt Gershkoff nee Seidman

On February 12, 2021 our beautiful mom lost her battle with Covid. Our family is overwhelmed with sadness and yet gratitude that we were blessed to have her for 93 years She was the beloved wife of the late Milton “ Rusty” Gershkoff and the late Philip Goldblatt. Loving mother of Allen (Drora) Goldblatt, Barbara (Bill) Kafin, Michael (Marta) Goldblatt and Amy (Bennett) Plotnick. Proud grandmother of Ran (Yonatan Vaizman) Goldblatt, Orit (Mordechai) Kaganer, Philip Kafin, Jill Kafin, Joshua Kafin, Sabrina (Adam) Weiskind, Gina Goldblatt, Suzanna (Stephen) Goldblatt-Clark, Monica (Aaron) Meyers, Ashley (Seth) Schriftman and J.D. Plotnick. Cherished great grandmother of Yossi, Mendy, Shlomo, Dovi, Sheina, Israel, Shmuel, Shneor, Dvora Leah, Leela, Marta Rose, Reuben Joseph, Elizabeth Dahlia Margaux Elizabeth Major J., Noah, Molly and Sophie, Dear sister of the late Anne (the late Aaron) Rosenson. From her we learned the value of kindness, the joy of beautiful earrings and the importance of taking care of those less fortunate. Her loss leaves a hole in our hearts but a lightness within that she was so loved and admired by all for her strength, humor, wit, kindness, youthful spirit~ she was such a bright light and shined when she entered any room. Her presence was a gift and joy for all. We are left with a beautiful visual of our dad, Rusty, Aunt Anne and her parents welcoming her. To keep everyone safe and healthy, the chapel service and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
