Judith Jaffe Salganik, age 82.

Beloved wife for 58 years of Walter I. Salganik. Loving mother of Kara (Mickey) Weibeler and Julie (Anthony) DiGuiseppe. Proud grandmother of Max, Sam, Zoey and Blake. Adored daughter of the late Sidney and Lillian Jaffe and daughter-in-law of the late Jerome and Mignon Salganik. Dear sister of Barbara (Daniel) McCarren and Robert (Debra) Jaffe. Fond sister-in-law of Shirley Doyle and Lynn Salganik. Memorial Service Sunday, August 16, 2026, 2 PM at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 195 N. Buffalo Grove Road (One block north of Lake Cook Road) Buffalo Grove. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Read To Learn, www.readtolearnfdn.org where she volunteered for many years. I grew up with Barbie, Judy’s sister, and spent many wonderful days at the Jaffe residence. Judy was so smart and vivacious. She embodied everything a good person should be and treated us youngsters kindly. Her parents were also very kind to me as well. They are all missed. My sympathies to the family.

Judy was my aunt. { I am Barby's daughter} and I remember her fondly at family vacations. She will be missed, and my condolences go out to Wally, Kara and Julie especially.

She was the light in the darkness !

I was Kara’s kids nanny for years, every time Judith was over Kara’s house, we had a great time. She was sweet, warmed and she was always happy to spend time with Zoey and Blake, you going to be so miss
