The first time we met Joyce and Kasey was when we all flew to Florida to meet and plan Josh and Dahlia's wedding. Ron and I were so thrilled to see how connected they were to Josh and so committed to him. They were great in-laws and we felt honored to become part of the family. Joyce will be sorely missed.
May you all be comforted by many wonderful memories. Sending our love and condolences.

Joyce was a very special cousin in my life. I did not see her as often as I would have liked, but cherished the times I did. Sweet, warm, smart, caring. And I totally adored her husband Kasey who treated me with such great care and gentleness way back when I was something like 11 years old and broke my arm in a fall. My father, Max Wishengrad, insisted that he was the only doctor we should see despite the distance we had to travel to get to him. And he was right.

I feel very sad about her passing, but grateful that she had a long life that was mostly comfortable and satisfying, and I'm sure she enjoyed having such an her incredible family. She will be in my heart and memory always.

i send my deepest feelings of sadness at the loss of such a wonderful family member, great first cousin to my mother, Shirley Wishengrad Weiner Green. Joyce had such an amazing career that she loved, and became the remarkable matriarch of such a large family begun with her much-adored husband so many decades ago. Her life was filled with so much to admire and be proud of.

I am Ruth Chaiklin from New Jersey, first cousin to Joyce. Our Father’s were brothers.
To Elaine, Rhoda, and Joyce, I was referred to as their fourth sister.
To me, Joyce was the sister I never had.
To our family, Joyce was a shining example of integrity, strength, and kindness.

She was a mentor and a role model to all of us.
No matter what life dealt Joyce, she accepted it with dignity, grace, and understanding.
Joyce always remembered every birthday and anniversary with a card or a phone call.
She attended every simcha with her smiling face and positive attitude.
Joyce taught us all about ethics and to love and accept everyone.

One thing that comes to mind, an example of her happiness was for her 95th birthday
as a surprise I sent to her a basket of gourmet designer chocolates from the most renowned
chocolatier in New Jersey. The chocolate basket was filled with solid chocolate
shaped rings, bracelets, books, a judge’s gavel, cooking utensils, and a bottle of her
favorite nail polish.
Her excitement, enthusiasm, and appreciation was so typical of Joyce. She savored
each piece of chocolate to make it last as long as possible.
Joyce was a unique “one of a kind” women, who will be missed by all.
Love forever,
Ruth, Amy, Mitchell, Monique, and Bobby

I didn’t have the honor of knowing Joyce, but I care deeply for Cheryl. Cheryl has a big heart and strong values, and I’m certain that reflects the beautiful influence of her mother.

Those of us who were fortunate enough to enter Grandma Joyce's world had the opportunity to know someone who included so many of us in her life. Her extended family is enormous and she will always be remembered as a caring and intelligent person. We were able to experience her love.

The world is less full because of her departure - and yet it remains richer because of her caring, warmth, just and loving loving life.

May she now find peace and joy with her life-long partner and her daughter...

May her memory be a blessing.
