I recall when I first met Mr. Lauria in 1977 when we were both attending a resort community. He was always a tremendously warm, caring and very thoughtful individual. I am very pleased to say that I have been friends with his son for almost 50 years based upon his parent’s and my grandmother’s as soon as foresight. May G-d bless his soul and offer him peace forever.

I had the honor to meet Edward in person. A modest caring and loving man full of compassion. The memory I want to share is about Edward, at the age of 62 (the year was 1997), visiting Israel. Sitting in a pedestrian street at the heart of Jerusalem, eating for the first time in his life Burger King because he could- the store was Kosher. And smiling and enjoying like a little kid with the BK crown on his head. Small and lovely moment. May you rest in peace with Libby in heaven. Sending my condolences and lots of hugs and love for his son, my dearest friend, Robert. Orit
