Marilyn was one of my best friends. We met when she moved into her Fulton lofts when I was 29, and she was 55. We lived on the same floor and become fast friends. Marilyn and I would meet regularly, share laughs, cat sit for each other, and share stories. Marilyn was there for all my life events, and even when I moved to Los Angeles in 2010, we still talked at least once a week!
I was thrilled for her to meet her true love, Bob, and I know she was so happy. I will always cherish our friendship, and will miss her terribly. She was like the sister I never had these past 26 years. Hugs to all her family and close friends, even though I haven’t met most, I feel like I know you. My heart goes out to all of you <3

Marilyn - such a quietly sweet and intelligent lady. Yes - sweet, but with a wicked sense of humor that would crack me up. She had a gentle dignity that became more obvious as she faced a brutal illness that never seemed to undermine her resolve or sense of self. I loved the joy that she and Bob brought to one another, which is what makes her passing so sadly premature. I am so pleased to have known Marilyn and to have enjoyed the time spent with her and Bob. . All of us will have many pleasant memories, which in time will soften the sadness of her absence.

Marilyn was a wonderful aunt. Whenever the three Prolman sisters got together, tons of laughter was inevitable. We enjoyed many fun times and great memories. Marilyn will surely be missed.
