Dear Robert, Joey, Mark, Benji and family,
We are so terribly saddened by Barbara’s death! We’ve known each other since our children were young (and actually before that!) She was a lovely woman; always gracious and smiling, even when life was really tough! Baruch Dayan Ha’Emet. May her memory be for a blessing and may your treasured memories comfort and strengthen you.

Dearest Robert, Joey, Mark, Benji and the entire family. ברוך דיין האמת. Such sad news to hear. We have been family friends for over 42 years and many of your son's were in the same classes as our children. So many fond memories of spending chaggim and Shabbos meals together. Your mother was always so warm and friendly when I would see her. Didn’t matter how much time had past you always felt her care and interest. You walked away feeling better after you saw her. I am truly sorry for the loss of your mother.

My dear Joey,

Lyn and I are very sad to hear about the death of your beloved mother. Mothers are given to each person to enjoy and learn from their presence for many years and as it happens to each one of us then they are gone from this earth. I know how sad you must feel over this great loss.
While I only met Barbara for a few minutes, I have spent much time with you. As I know that you are a very fine and special person, your mother must have been an incredible person to raise a son like you.

We send you and Stephanie all our love and a prayer that your mother continues to live in your heart forever.

We love you both and your family as well

Dear Kandelman family,

My first memory of Barbara was when she was a cheerleader at Sullivan High School with her beautiful smile and enthusiasm. Fast forward to carpooling for Torah tots with our sons, Mark and Zach. Watching our sons play ball on the JCC league and just ambling around West Rogers Park. Barbara always had a glowing smile and kind words for all.

She is already sorely missed and will continue to be.

Wishing you all comfort from the good memories . . May you be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and may her memory be for a blessing.
