We were greatly saddened to hear of Bennie's petirah. He will be remembered for his dedication to Torah, and for his active participation and contribution to Jewish life in Chicago and elsewhere. Also, for his positive outlook on life and his wonderful sense of humor.

I was sick today and could not attend in person so was thankful that you had the livestream. Bennie was a very special person and will be missed by many. Deepest sympathies and wishes for strength and comfort during this time. May his memory be a blessing and may his neshama have an aliyah.

I was so sorry to hear about Bennie, z”l. He a good friend to so many people and will be sorely missed. I will remember him as the first Texan I ever met and as the kind and sincere man he became. His love of Torah and Yiddishkeit and his dedication to his family were examples to all.
